Descendant of Izabielin Germans Uladzimir Runge: about the mother and father who was a real “colonial” Izabielin German
Uladzimir recalls his father and mother and pre-war circumstances in Izabielin. Uladzimir’s family consisted of more than 43 people, and that were only his father’s German brothers, sisters and cousins. On the eve of the war, many Germans left for Deutschland because of the “fraternal” relations between the USSR and Germany. Even the local Orthodox priest, because his wife was German, who later became a famous priest and is featured in Wikipedia.
